Interventional Cardiac Treatment and Rehabilitation

After undergoing heart surgery, patients have an added resource to get them back in the beat of life-cardiac rehabilitation.Working with exercise physiologists in conjunction with their cardiologists, patients begin the first of three phases of the program the day after surgery.

The Heart Center offers cardiac catheterization, which is used to examine coronary arteries to determine the risk for coronary artery disease and the need for cardiac surgery."With our additional cardiac cath labs, we can see patients in a more timely manner," says Dr. Baker. "The labs are equipped with the most advanced technology and staffed with highly trained practitioners."
